I did not expect this program to hit every different kind of scenario after a break-up, which included special needs children situations, of substance abuse, physical abuse and all that stuff. It made it seem a lot more realistic and thought out than just a typical run of the mill class.

I learned how to use proper clear communication. In a situation such as my own I’ve liked this program for many reasons. I like the steps of the ladder. I like how it concentrates on what’s best for the child - for example - it states not to talk badly about the other parent. I know if someone does this class, and doesn’t take anything from it, then they were clearly not paying attention, or didn’t invest the right amount of time for it.

I really appreciated the skills and the knowledge base it covered, I learned a lot more than I thought I would and I am glad I had the opportunity to take it. I really enjoyed the video examples and how they gave tangible examples. I also really liked the mix of legal, psychological and medical knowledge it shared in conjunction with the other areas.

I really liked the intro video that provided meta-learning tips on how to get most out of the experience. Those suggestion were well rooted in the science of adult learning and the video shared them in a really open and transparent way. It was a great way to start the course. I also really liked how openly issues were discussed and addressed. I liked how the questions prompted opportunity for real reflection. I liked the practice activities too.
