Most of it was a confirmation of the things that I have been learning about in my own therapy sessions, but to see that I was retaining the information was nice. The videos were helpful in some points because I was challenged at moments to visualize some scenarios. I really appreciated the definitions for legal terms as well as some of the handouts to help me organize and see if there were things I hadn't considered.

It made me internally think about what I am doing and how I can improve my child's well-being. I also liked the discussion about being attuned to your child and that a good attachment begins with a good attunement. I also liked the discussion about coping with stressors in life and how coping skills are like a rubber band and can only accommodate so much at one time. I enjoyed learning more about communication skills.

I really liked the format of the course. I have taken many online classes and have even taught a couple. The way the journal entries before and after tie in with the videos is useful. Also, the videos clearly and concisely lay out the information.

It was very thorough and easy to understand. I liked that it provided actionable steps for improving co-parenting relationships and parent-child relationships and that it was very focused on what is best for the children of divorce.

It makes you think. It helps you consider things that you may not have been aware of. It makes you look at yourself and how you are handling the situation. It helps to make sure that your children are considered in every step.

The different stages and how the change can affect everyone at different times. I liked the ideas of ways to better communicate and how to handle the different moods and tempers the children will go through during the change.
