Some things I really liked about this module were learning how important a parent’s well-being is to a child’s ability to thrive. I liked learning about positive parenting, setting healthy boundaries, building resilience, and helping children develop confidence and independence. I also appreciated learning how important it is to keep children out of parental conflict and provide them with a safe and supportive environment. This module gave me practical ideas that I can use to strengthen my relationship with my children and support their emotional and personal growth.

Some things I really liked about this module were that it focused on practical things I can actually control as a parent instead of focusing on everything that has gone wrong or things I can't change. I especially liked the concepts of resilience, self-efficacy, authoritative parenting, mindfulness and moving from being a "fixer" to more of a coach as my kids get older. I also liked the emphasis on keeping children out of adult conflict and giving them permission to have healthy relationships with both parents.

I enjoyed learning about how to help make my child more resilient and learning about our emotions and that how we react to situations strongly affects how our children will grow-up and react to their own situations.

I appreciated that the module provided helpful ideas for better understanding children, improving communication, and learning positive ways to guide them. It also helped me reflect on the importance of support, patience, and emotional connection within the family.
