It is very informative especially for parents being for their first time in this situation, not knowing legal terms or not having guidance. I REALLY liked the legal part of the program, more precisely the part where there was one judge and one lawyer, explaining situations from their perspective and from their experience. That made the whole approach very tangible.

The judge video really helped me understand the process and that I’m not singled out. That this too will pass and as long as I take care of myself, provide a loving stable home things will stay the same. There has been no major change to circumstance.

I liked that this program provided clear explanations of legal terms and processes related to custody, mediation and negotiation. It helped me better understand how the court views the best interests of the child and how important communication and cooperation are in co-parenting. I also appreciated how the lessons connected emotional awareness with decision making. The sections about the “thinking brain” and “feeling brain” were especially helpful in understanding how stress can affect reactions during conflict.
