It provided a lot of helpful information in a relatively short class. I hope most of it will be relevant to me one day, even though it is not now.

It was informative and made me do a little researching. I know how important it is for both parents to be involved in the child's life and that from this point forward it is important for me and his mother to make decisions regarding him together and to keep his interests at heart.

Some things I really liked about this program were the focus on the child’s needs, learning how to manage conflict in healthier ways and the emphasis on communication and consistency in co-parenting. It helped me better understand how to separate personal feelings from parenting decisions and keep the child’s best interests at the center of everything.

Good information. That it covered the stages of "grief" and defined a break-up as a new relationship status. Reiterates the importance of what the children need. Attempts to take multiple situations/scenarios into consideration. Shows potential/typical scenarios and emotions.

Some things I really liked about this program were how it helped me organize and express the things I already knew in my heart. I’ve always been very hands-on and committed as a parent, but this course gave me space to reflect on everything I’ve done for my son and how important it is to keep showing up for him in the best way possible. It didn’t necessarily teach me anything new, but it reminded me why I care so deeply and helped me put my thoughts into words.

I learned that it's important to take care of myself so I can take care of my daughter. I learned about the different feelings that come with a breakup. I learned that I don't know anything overnight. I learned that you can find a mediator before going to court. I learned the importance of developing a co-parenting plan.

I liked that high-conflict and abusive relationships were included in the co-parenting course as I often feel isolated and misunderstood in normal contexts when my experience feels extreme and this course started with basic break-up information that made me feel this was going to be generic and not apply to our family circumstances but it turned out to be a great course and very helpful.

It helped me slow down and reflect on my own parenting values, not just the conflict with my co-parent. • I appreciated the focus on putting the child’s needs first—it reminded me of what matters most, even in tough situations. • It gave me a chance to think about how I’ve already grown and what I’m doing well, instead of just focusing on what’s wrong. • Some of the journal prompts helped me process emotions I didn’t even realize I was still holding onto. It wasn’t always easy, but it gave me tools and language to better support my child and myself moving forward.

It was accessible - there were audio, visual and written elements that made it easy to complete. I liked that there are handouts and worksheets we can keep from the course. I liked the consultation with a variety of experts and all the resources and sources at the end of each unit, it made me confident in the info I was receiving and showed where I can learn more.

I enjoyed the example videos. Some of the scenarios reminded me of my current situation. Created a lot of buy in. Having the tactics of handling your children divided up by age range was a smart idea.

The reality of how horrible separation and divorce is. I cried at least three times, maybe more, which I didn’t expect to do. It really shows the horror and nightmare of what is actually the death of a relationship. Though I will and am doing better after I left, the difficulty is that I am managing a lot on my own which wasn’t my plan. I really never expected this to happen and I certainly didn’t want to be in the statistic of a divorced woman. I’m thankful there was clarity on what mediation is and how it can be more beneficial than getting a lawyer. I frankly wished I had gotten mediation to begin with. There was loads of good information that helped me think about what I need to do to make a better parenting plan. I’ve heard people talk about them in general but never in depth and I needed guidance on that. I also gained new terms that are helpful. We are collaborative colleagues right now and I pray and hope it stays that way.
