It’s a lot to learn, but it puts a very good perspective on the situation of yourself and what others could possibly be going through like for example the co-parent and the child.

The parenting class was very informative and enlightening. The videos were especially helpful because they showed me that many other parents have experienced similar challenges. It made me realize that I am not alone and gave me hope that with time and continued effort my co-parenting situation can improve. I also learned practical strategies that I can use to better support my children and focus on their well-being despite our family changes.

This is an excellent program for those who are going through a break-up and custody issue. I am not however a co-parent, but a grandparent trying to be able to see my grandaughter. It really gives the parents guidance on the stages of break-ups on things they may have never thought of.

I really appreciated how practical and concrete this program was. The videos and examples were realistic — showing actual conversations between co-parents, both the wrong way and the right way, made the skills much easier to understand and apply. I found the sections on communication and conflict especially helpful: the idea of treating co-parenting as a "limited business partnership," the five types of post-divorce relationships, the difference between the three kinds of conflict, and the six-step problem-solving approach all gave me clear, usable tools rather than just general advice.

The questions helped me identify areas where I have grown and areas where I still need to improve. I also appreciated the practical focus on communication, keeping children out of adult conflict, and creating a clear and stable parenting plan. The program gave me useful ways to think about difficult co-parenting situations while continuing to keep my children’s needs at the center of my decisions.

It forced me to reconcile with the importance of putting my children's needs and feelings first, involve them in creating a new space, a new chapter. How vital it is that you communicate to your children how much you love them and that the divorce isn't because of anything that they did. Introduced the benefits of out-of-court dispute resolution techniques.
