I learned different things when taking this class. Sure, everyone knows people get upset with breakups and things like that but I enjoyed having things broken down and learning about things like the phases of relationship breakdowns and the phases of adjustment. I just want to see my daughter, be with her as often as possible and have an amiable relationship with my co-parent. Talking about co-parenting and the parenting plans were a big help too in helping me evaluate myself and my situation.

It provided communication techniques to deal with the co-parent, and ways to speak to the child about divorce and help the child adjust to the change. Most of all, I learned that it is vitally important for a child to have both parents in their life if it is possible.
