I like how much you had to journal. The questions, though repetitive at times, were thought provoking and meaningful. It took me WAY longer than 6 hours to get through it, and that was OK. I hesitated when answering some of the questions, but did so honestly and it helped me to think about my instincts and what they mean as a parent and coparent. All in all, it was a good course. You get out of it what you put into it.

I really liked how everything was pointed out as far as feelings and impact on everyone not just the children. I also liked how to better mange break ups and do better with helping my child adjust. Overall each step that was given and broken down will help me to understand theses situations better

I really liked how it addressed certain situations with real people and similar situations to what I am going through so I knew better how to handle the situation I am in. I also really like how it incorporated the children in the course and in the videos and let them speak about how it affected them and how they handled it and how they would’ve preferred it be handled rather than what it was. I liked that instead of just looking at things from an adult point of view. I also love how it incorporated many different resources to help me during the course and also after the course and after court, so that way, I can be a better parent to my son.

This program allowed me to be fully engaged. I got a lot of information out of this that I thought I had all figured out. Getting an 81% on the final exam proved that I still have some things to learn, but I am excited and feel encouraged.

This program really helps you sit back, think about your life and how everything ultimately effects the child. I found it therapeutic to go back and re-evaluate and think on how certain situations could've been handled differently and what to do in the future. I've gained more knowledge and perspective to help me be successful even with the circumstances at hand. Hopefully we can move forward for the betterment of everyone involved.

The emphases on how it is just all about the child's well being. There was never a module that was geared towards solving the breakup and I appreciated that so much. I loved that the videos actually had children in them and I loved how relatable it all was to real life. Not any part of it made me feel like a bad mom because I am divorced.

Some things I really liked about this program were how it emphasized the importance of communication and stability, especially for children like my son. As a parent, it’s crucial for me to provide him with a sense of security during transitions, and this program helped me understand the best ways to do that. I found the sections on co-parenting communication particularly useful because they highlighted how my interactions with my co-parent will directly affect my son’s emotional well-being. Ensuring that he feels safe and loved during any changes is my top priority, and this program reinforced the importance of clear and compassionate communication in maintaining that environment for my baby.

They kept me involved with asking me questions and giving a time gate which prevented me from just skipping parts of the course altogether. There were a lot of tools to be able to use and come back to should I forget what I learned.
