They have to adapt to a new routine, different homes, and a different family dynamic. The class helped me better understand what my children may be feeling and how important it is to support them with patience, love, and open communication. It was nice to work through everything to get a better picture of what's going on. One day I was completely apart of my children's lives, the next I wasn't. It was hard to deal with because I wasn't sure what was happening and most importantly why. I worked through a lot of these things on my own but couldn't put names to what I was doing or going through. This program helped me define some of those things.
