I can see that I need to continue striving to improve communication and the time I dedicate to my son when we have conversations. I've already started putting my phone aside and focusing more on our conversations, paying closer attention to his words and body language. Being a mother continues to be an adventure, but learning as I go and seeing the positive changes is the best part of it.
