I didn't expect the program to emphasize so much on my feelings but it did help me see clearer and honestly put in perspective some of my co-parents feelings as well, as well as keeping emotions out of decision making other than my daughters.

I also liked the practical tools and worksheets that made me think through important details of the parenting plan. Some things I really liked about this program are how it focused on putting children’s needs first and how it gave practical strategies for co-parenting after a break-up. I also appreciated learning about stages of adjustment, managing my own emotions and communicating effectively with both my co-parent and my children. The program helped me think ahead and prepare a parenting plan that is fair, clear and focused on the well-being of my children.

Some things I really like about this program is that is showing me different ways to co-parent with the other party; how to communicate with a difficult co-parent and also showing me how to express to my children what is going on, what will change what will remain the same and handling my personal feelings on my own time, to never include my children in the conflict.

The education of co-parenting I learned will be useful to me for the rest of my life. It opened my eyes in a new dimension on how to be a good parent. I learned how to be a good communicator, what to expect after the break up, the importance of keeping the interests of the children at the center of parenting plan.
