I liked how in depth this program was from explaining the whole legal process to watching videos of families and their progression through their struggles. It taught me to take a step back and re-evaluate my anger and resentment towards my co-parent which is just harming the children by making the divorce process harder. I appreciated the unit about ACEs and how this affects children and adults and what children go through during really hard times.

I appreciate all of the information found in the program, specifically the co-parenting tools as that seems to be where we struggle the most. I find it hard to discuss anything with my co-parent as there is no negotiation with her, but I can still try and utilize the tactics and know that I am doing the right thing for our daughter at the end of the day.

I really appreciated the videos that accompanied each unit. The course is packed with information and really should be the standard for someone starting the divorce process. For me, I think I am coming to the end of the process and the GAL suggested that we may need to take a course. I have taken this one proactively and I do not regret that decision.

It tried really hard to keep things focused on what you can control, rather than what the other parent can control. It tried to center learning on the sphere of influence, and trying to do the best that you can to heal moving forward, and make things healthy for your kid.

I like being able to know that a lot of people go through divorce and parenting time changes, and it has to become about only our children at some point, and things will change but it takes time and sometimes the courts to be involved. I like that the co-parent who refuses to communicate, will have to take this class and maybe just maybe it will help.
