Some of the content was very helpful and taught me new information that I had never heard or thought about. Some served as a refresher for information I already knew but it was useful to be reminded of. I especially will use some of the co-parenting communication tips that I learned, like sharing information instead of feelings. This course also helped clarify my hopes and goals for this process so I can remain grounded in those as the process moves forward.

Clear guidance on co-parenting: the program provided practical advice and steps for navigating the challenges of co-parenting, emphasizing communication, cooperation and putting the children's needs first. Focus on emotional well-being: it emphasized not just the logistics of co-parenting but also the emotional impact on both parents and children, which is essential for creating a healthy, supportive environment after a breakup. Helpful strategies for conflict resolution: the suggestions for managing conflict, setting boundaries and maintaining respect were particularly valuable, as they helped me feel more prepared to approach difficult situations calmly and constructively. Age-appropriate advice for children: the guidance on how to talk to children and address their concerns during a break-up was incredibly useful, ensuring that their emotional needs are prioritized while minimizing the negative impact.

I really enjoyed the different things that I learned about communication and dealing with different types of conflict and how to choose what type of conflict to address and what type of conflict to just leave unaddressed and to pray about. I appreciated how it discussed different forms of abuse and how to handle abuse; and how to handle parenting time. I appreciated all of the handouts that were available and I think that was my favorite in the different resources to be able to look back at later. I really like to see how supervised parenting time is suppose to look if we had a safe person to leave the children with when they were visiting their father. I really enjoyed writing that love letter to my kids and I did print it so I can give it to them later today. And I don't think I would have been able to take this class in person for 4 hours it was just way too much information for me to retain. The online option was great and I like that I was able to break it up into bite size pieces to really start putting the information that I learned into action and have the opportunity to process the information and gain a different understanding of it all. I really liked how right before I got my order protection how the class talked about how to handle the abusive parents and to explain to the children why they can't see their parent right now. This class was really good I just felt overall encouraged to be able to at some point collaborate with my husband and to have a wonderful outcome for the kids.

The Journaling. I took my Journaling and note taking very seriously throughout this program and I think it's been super helpful in both my understanding of the process but also of myself as it pertains to the process as a whole. I liked that even if things were hard to hear, they were necessary to hear and it all seemed valuable and important.

The different tactics how the process to deal with my child's feelings finding different tactics to get them through this process was very helpful.

I like the insight on how to do things after a break up with kids is very helpful, especially when parents don't end on greatest terms. Helping understand that the kids come first and creating a plan from that helps create guidelines for each parent that might not have been aware of.
