Information about dealing with coparenting. Many of the information was relative and helpful. I like the parenting plan worksheet and the information about how to coparent with a special needs child. I loved that it also mentions the health and well-being of the parents to have happier children and steps on how to move ahead.

Very informative, especially for those who are one sided/driven by their own personal feelings towards the other parent. The information given, gives a new perspective on separating as parents. A lot of useful tools and resources were given and if I was actively in the breakup I believe this program would've been very helpful to cope with the whole experience.

I appreciated how this program kept the focus on what’s best for the children throughout. It helped me slow down and really think about my kids’ needs, emotionally, physically, and developmentally, as I work through a challenging time. I also liked how the material was broken down into clear, practical sections, especially the parts on communication, managing conflict, and building a parenting plan that grows with the children. It felt realistic, not idealistic. Another thing I valued was how the program recognized the emotional side of co-parenting, from anger and grief to the complicated dynamic between parents. It didn’t sugarcoat anything, but it gave tools to help respond with more calm and intention. And finally, I liked how the worksheets and reflection questions helped me put my thoughts down and plan ahead, rather than just react.

Some things I really liked about this program were the opportunities to reflect on my parenting, our child's needs, and how I've handled difficult situations. Even through things haven't been easy and I've worried about different decisions; it reminded me that I've made thoughtful and protective choices, and I've shown up consistently for our son. That validation meant a lot, because so much of parenting in my situation has required strength, boundaries, and trust in my own judgment. One helpful reminder was that I'm not expected to be "perfect pals" with my co-parent. This program helped me understand that it's ok - and even healthy - to treat the relationship more like a business partnership, where communication stays focused on our son, not on past hurt or personal emotion. That mindset takes the pressure off and helps avoid unnecessary conflict. I also gained insight into some mistakes we made in the past - like trying to spend holidays or go to church together "as a family." At the time, it felt like we were doing it for our son's sake, but I can see now that those choices blurred boundaries, caused confusion, and created more emotional distress for everyone. This program helped me realize that healthy co-parenting doesn't mean pretending we are still connected - it means protecting emotional clarity and stability for our son. I also appreciated learning or reinforcing strategies to manage conflict - big or small - such as: - using written communication (email, text, or tool) - giving space before responding to emotional or frustrating messages - focusing only on our son, not on past issues or trying to "win" an argument - saying less when needed and setting firm but respectful boundaries - keeping the tone neutral and professional - even if the other parent doesn't Most of all, this course reminded me that I'm doing the right thing by staying focused on our son's safety, stability, and emotional well-being. I may not have a traditional co-parenting relationship or the one I had hoped we would have, but I've created a home where our son feels safe, loved, and supported - and that's what matters more than anything else.
