Some things I really liked about this program were that it helped me think more about my child’s needs and how to put her first in all co-parenting decisions. It also gave me tools and strategies for improving communication and handling conflict in a healthier way. I appreciated that the program focused on keeping children out of the middle and creating stability, which is very important to me. It also helped me reflect on my own actions and how I can improve as a co-parent. I liked the different perspectives that the class offered when it came to how parents may view situations between themselves and the co-parent. I also like how listed out the types of abuse that can happen and allowed me to understand that often times separation or divorce can exacerbate these types of scenarios.
