I enjoyed how it explained the different stages of a break-up - it really helped to understand that the feelings that come up are actually very normal; and I also really liked how thorough it explained the different feelings/behaviors children experience based on their age groups, and how to better support them through this difficult transition.

It pulls out a lot of emotions. When you think you got over, it shows you haven't. It just points where I need to work on, if I just want what is best for my son. This was a good class. It showed me where I struggle and get angry.

One of the biggest things I learned from this course is that many of the communication and parenting strategies we discussed would have been valuable while I was still in a two-parent household. It made me realize that healthy communication, mutual respect, and keeping children's emotional well-being at the center of parenting are important whether parents are together or apart.

Matthew B.

I appreciated that the program used journaling and reflection rather than just lectures, since writing things out made me actually think through my own situation, instead of passively absorbing information. The focus on keeping the kids out of the middle, and on what I can control, rather than on the other parent, was practical and stuck with me. I also found the framing of co-parenting as a working partnership helpful, and the reminders that the adjustment process isn't a straight line took some pressure off.

Luis O.

This course really helped me step back and focus completely on what matters most: my daughter's happiness and peace of mind. It showed me how important it is to keep all the adult drama and disagreements entirely away from her so she can just be a kid and feel safe, instead of caught in the middle. I've realized that setting up a solid, clear parenting plan - and keeping things completely calm and business - like when communicating with her mom - is the absolute best way to cut out the stress and conflict.

I really liked that the program reinforced a lot of what we already figured out during mediation. It was a solid reminder to treat things strictly business, and focus entirely on the stability of my two kids. It gave some good practical pointers on how to avoid unnecessary drama, which lines up perfectly with my overall goal of just sticking to the schedule we already built and keeping everything running smoothly for them.
