I loved the journaling prompts. It was helpful to slow down and write out my thoughts and plans. I appreciate how the content was focused on understanding and putting the children's needs first. This class took a lot longer than 4 hours, but it was time well spent.

It gave great reminders for staying child-focused and some explanations and reminders of why my child may be acting out of anger in relation to the stages of processing the separation. It did remind me to choose my battles, sometimes when everything is escalated that can be lost because everything feels like a battle. I have started considering where I can compromise my wishes for a more balanced and fair parenting plan that also promotes stability.
