What I really liked about this program was how it helped me understand the importance of keeping my son out of the middle, unlike my own childhood experience where I was caught between parents. The program reinforced that my focus on providing stability for my son is the right approach, especially during his unique situation of graduating early. I also appreciated learning about different ways to handle communication challenges with my co-parent, giving me practical tools for managing situations like the rapid-fire questioning while keeping the focus on our son's needs.

I really enjoyed the reflections that this program requires. The questions were thought-provoking and helped me to stop and think about where we are in this separation. All of the information was very helpful and I enjoyed taking notes to be able to use the info in the future.

This program was very eye opening and it was a lot of knowledge to take in. I was able to connect with the videos that were given because it relates to my situation. I can feel hope and I believe that mediation will help with our parent plan being agreed upon.

I like that it puts the children first. I also like that there are resources given to the parents to help with creating a parenting plan. It's also informational regarding the process of divorce, as I didn't know I didn't need to go to court and that the divorce could be finalized with mediation.

I liked that i could take a break or come back the next day and take my time going through the program. I also liked having the voice read the text while i read along. The videos were good compared to a lot of "training videos" i've seen in the past, i'm still not sure if they were actors or people going through the situation they talked about. However, although it's necessary it was pretty sad listening to the children talk about how parents breaking up negatively affected them, but it was nice to have the option to focus more on younger children and not have to partake in every video of older kids explaining how depressing of a situation they have been put in.

It presented a wealth of information for people in all stages of divorce and separation. There are so many things to consider, but included how to keep your self healthy so the kids can thrive. Emphasized repeatedly the needs of the kids to be accounted for first.

I liked the mix of formats offered. It was offered to read, to be listened to, videos of re-enactments, videos of experts explaining topics. It helped keep my attention and it caters to different types of learning styles.

The journal entries for reflection were really helpful in thinking about how the information presented applies to our individual situation and how I can use this new information for the benefit of the kids. The video scenarios with questions were also helpful in identifying ways to improve co-parenting.

I liked how it talked about effective ways to communicate with a co parent and how to begin creating a parenting plan. I liked how it talked about different stages of break ups. I appreciated how it mentioned and explained the 'wheel of violence' and mentioned how not all abuse is physical. I also liked how it touched on different age groups of children and expressed how not all parenting plans are appropriate for all children of different age groups. I appreciated how it explained different steps co parents can take in addition to or prior to court.

it helped me have better coping skills for when the other parent made an argument emotional over fact-based communication and know I can cut off the conversation and just prevent the argument and go back to the communication later. I learned way better communication styles.
