Chrisha H.

Some things I really liked about this program include it's clear focus on keeping the children’s needs at the center, which helped me approach co-parenting in a thoughtful and practical way. I appreciated the step-by-step guidance for creating a parenting plan, including legal and physical custody considerations, communication rules and routines that support stability. The examples, worksheets and videos made complex topics easier to understand and apply. I also liked the emphasis on planning ahead and being flexible for expected and unexpected changes, which prepares parents for real-life situations. Finally, the strategies for reducing conflict and negotiating respectfully with a co-parent were very helpful and gave me practical tools to improve cooperation and support my children’s well-being.

I enjoyed the sense of community the program presents. The material being taught makes you feel less outcasted and believing that you are the only one going through this process. I also enjoyed it being an online course, with my daughter being a baby, there were many times I was interrupted in the course to tend to my daughter's needs. Due to it being an online course, I was able to pause and take some time away or come back another day to continue with my education.
