Some things I really liked about this program were that it gave practical tools instead of just saying “put the children first.” I liked learning about parallel parenting, structured communication, managing anger, and building a detailed parenting plan. I also liked that the course talked about how children experience conflict and grief differently than adults. That helped me think more about what my children may need emotionally, not just what needs to happen legally.

I liked the fact that this was made in a mobile friendly way, and that it was so informative - not only giving you handouts and the actual physical sources in which you can look up the data you need, but also information about actual individual mediators, and/or lawyers and or government officials you may need to reach out to, in the times of you setting up a parenting plan.

There was a lot in here I’ve learned from other personal stories and a lot I agreed with or came to the conclusion on my own. I think regardless of how your situation is, whether you are on good or bad terms, or even if you are together but unsure of your future. This is a great class even just for learning how to be a better parent, no matter how great a parent you think you already are, it will never hurt to learn more for you and your child.
