It gave me some insights to my own childhood and some of the abuse I suffered, that I only over the past few years have recognized. It has shown me a multitude of areas where my co-parent does the wrong things. I hope when she takes this class, she will own her behaviors and learn something from the information provided.

I really enjoyed the videos of the different co parents trying to reach agreements and showing how they overcame their emotions. I also enjoyed the journal entries as well as it gave me a chance to apply the knowledge into my life.

Learning more about when you can and cannot do decision making together and when parallel is best, not just putting children first but also have to put yourself first, values are important to have and know, learning other ways to try and communicate in high conflict coparenting.

Structure and content was relatively similar to things I've discussed or heard from my therapist but it helped to see this organized and laid out as it was. Reinforcing the big skills at various moments in the course was also helpful. I also appreciated some of the contextual information related to how judges think and their state of mind when reviewing cases.

This program really helps you sit back, think about your life and how everything ultimately effects the child. I found it therapeutic to go back and re-evaluate and think on how certain situations could've been handled differently and what to do in the future. I've gained more knowledge and perspective to help me be successful even with the circumstances at hand. Hopefully we can move forward for the betterment of everyone involved.

I liked how in depth the course was and learning about the psychology of us as parents and about children and how we affect them. I also enjoyed learning about some of the legal rights and views the courts have regarding custody and parenting time.

The emphases on how it is just all about the child's well being. There was never a module that was geared towards solving the breakup and I appreciated that so much. I loved that the videos actually had children in them and I loved how relatable it all was to real life. Not any part of it made me feel like a bad mom because I am divorced.

I liked learning the 4 ways to communicate with my coparent. I am at a point where I can let go of what my coparent says and how he disagrees and is confrontational. He can enjoy that approach on his own alone. I choose to disengage.

Some things I really liked about this program were how it emphasized the importance of communication and stability, especially for children like my son. As a parent, it’s crucial for me to provide him with a sense of security during transitions, and this program helped me understand the best ways to do that. I found the sections on co-parenting communication particularly useful because they highlighted how my interactions with my co-parent will directly affect my son’s emotional well-being. Ensuring that he feels safe and loved during any changes is my top priority, and this program reinforced the importance of clear and compassionate communication in maintaining that environment for my baby.

I enjoyed learning about the developmental stages and how children cope with stress. I liked the concepts of how to navigate certain difficult issues and stay focused on not getting too entangled with a high conflict parent. I learned the ways to remain fact-focused with the children and to encourage positive interactions.
