I really liked how the information was divided into units. I found the stages of grief and the unit on grief in general very informative. I had also learned a lot about trauma in the past, but I really enjoy how this course applied the aces framework to coparenting. Honestly, I thought the course was great. I wished that I had been assigned to take this course 12 years ago. And might have saved us a lot of heartache time, money expense, and frustration. . It is somewhat comforting to know that I am not the only person going through this as well. I enjoyed seeing the videos of the different couples and hearing about their issues. And for someone who has never gone through this process before, I learned a lot about the legal process, and that would’ve been helpful for me to understand at the beginning. Mostly because it would’ve helped me understand my rights, which I didn’t.

I liked that there was journaling. I don't remember the other one I took, having as much journaling. It's nice to be able to speak what I am feeling, not just click boxes.

Learning how to keep emotions out of topic specific conversations. The videos showing real-life scenarios and how people react versus respond to the conversations co-parents must have. With children, understanding that this divorce greatly affects them and how considering their emotional journey has to be one of the top priorities.

I like how they broke down all the stages, and explained different feelings and better ways to deal with them. Assured me that other people have the same situation better and some worse, but it is normal and in the end everything will work out.
