I liked the journaling. I think self reflections helps force you to process and think about your situation and commit to the understanding of the teachings.

12 Hour - Parenting Without Conflict

Fabiola B.

It's very well explained, gives a chance for the parent to reflect about effects of the conflicts in the kids, explores all aspects of the divorce, really good! I hope my co-parent takes it seriously as I did and I hope we can move forward with less conflict and focusing on the kids as I have been focusing.

The self-reflection through journaling. When trying to journal, I never know where to begin and always finish with a word salad or discombobulated thoughts jumbled onto paper. With the prompts, it helped to keep me focused and engaged. Much needed.

The couples example videos, but also the little unit videos that fit into each module. I think it would be helpful if the power point slides were made available outside of the video.

Very insightful and thoughtful feedback. I especially loved the video with the child talking about wanting parents to NOT describe kids as resilient. I wholeheartedly agree and this is rarely stated by others. We should cherish kids and care for their hearts, not just assume they will be just fine. I greatly appreciated the though process of this class.

One of the most insightful things about this class was asking the emotion-based questions both before and after the module. In almost every case, I found my answers changing to be more positive and cooperative after the module.

Really makes you think about a lot of things and makes you think about other people especially the child involved and how they may feel about the situation and not just how I feel about the situation.

It's very informative and repeats what's most important like the BIFF method as well as reminding me that we must control what we can instead of the other person and laying blame will not help anyone.

This really taught me ways to focus on myself, my co-parent & my child in our current situation and showed me ways to deal w/ the upcoming divorce.
