I like the calm presentation style of the facilitator. Additionally I like how the course emphasizes the importance of learning these skills so that at least one parent can be appropriate. There were many useful tips on how to write more effective emails to coparents and how to be the best parent possible, even in a difficult situation with a high conflict parent.

The class taught me the importance of anticipating problems, and quickly employing one of the Big 4 skills: Especially flexible thinking, because I know that there are time my co-parents tries to make me angry; Managing Emotions, and Moderate Behaviors, which is very important that I always teach my children how to handle hard situations by way of modelling positive behavior in front of them; and Checking myself, before I do things that will get me into trouble later. I know that there will be an opportunity to use all of these skills soon, so it is good that I had some formal education on how to use them properly.

The anger volcano was interesting and thought provoking for my personal situation. I enjoyed the ted talks. BIFF responses are a helpful reminder. The quizzes to figure out which conflict animal you are was interesting.

I purchased this class because I wanted a teen specific class and for the most part, this course pulled that off. Video clips of teen perspectives on things.

I love that is taught by an expert and it shows real live situations that one can relay to. I like the way things are explained. the order is on and all the reflection quotes at the beginning of a topic. Very informative

This program was very well organized. I have learned a lot especially the part where they educated us about the co- parenting and how to manage your feelings and your behavior. I also enjoyed the educated part about the kids brains. I absolutely love it and enjoyed it.

I liked that the program teaches ways to not only deal with the parenting partner, but also teaches effective tools to use with other people such as your children and then you can provide them with these tools, as well. The program was informative on many levels and provided insight on how to deal with high conflict partners.

I really enjoyed the various handouts. They are great, I can print these and re-use them for different conversations with my child/children. They are a great reference tool.
12 Hour - Parenting Without Conflict

Repeating the core skills and weaving them throughout. These four skills can help with so many of the underlying issues and finding resolution. I also liked the content and keeping it relative to the topic, with extra focus for abuse and d.v. scenarios. There was a lot of good advice and content. It is great to have the videos for people who learn better in ways other than reading.
