I loved the information that I have learned and gathered so that I can be a better parent to my kids. Also I learned a lot about high conflict co-parents and about how to stay out of court when it comes to my divorce and the kids. I learned not to have a all or nothing mind set and to make proposals and see where things go instead of it just being my way and of no one else. It will also help me when my kids get into trouble and how to discipline them. I also learned about the different resources there is out there for me to use to finalize my divorce.

I truly appreciated the emphasis on the child's brain development. I would consider myself in an extreme high conflict situation. After reviewing this course, I feel it's best to avoid conflict as much as possible in front of the children. When I left the marriage and filed for divorce, I felt like it was important that the children learn how to stick up for themselves when dealing with an abusive relationship. Now I feel it is less important that they see that first hand.

I learned so much about things I have been doing wrong and proper ways of communicating. I learned that I am not alone in dealing with someone who I feel can be very difficult at times and that it is not as uncommon as I thought. I learned a lot about what is important and what isn't in the eyes of the court. I learned about left and right brain thinking which was amazing to me and makes total sense! I feel as though everyone in a court custody case should take a co-parenting class!

I enjoyed learning ways to deal with a high conflict parent, also it made me realize that the things I'm going through are very common. Learning about the 4 big skills will help me moving forward. It was pretty wild to read and watch the videos and see how much they mirror what is going on in my life. I feel I'm better prepared now moving forward.
