I liked that it went step by step. It kind of followed the whole process of a divorce and was very informative. I also liked the journal entry process. It really helped me understand how I have been feeling and how my kids are feeling. Also, just writing out the changes and plans I'd like to make into focus.

I liked learning how we should co-parent for our kids and let it go. The past is the past, what’s important here is that our children learn how to manage extreme behaviors. We learned how to explain to our kids when it’s best to use moderate behavior and not extreme behavior for the consequences.

I really liked how this program focuses on maintaining a civil relationship between co-parents instead of just limiting contact. I like how there were many examples of right and harmful conversations and there was a focus on keeping the children out of it but also maintaining consistency in their lives during and after the divorce.

I took from it that I can communicate with my ex and stay focused about what we are communicating about. I'm really hoping that we can have better communication in the end about our girls. I am also hopeful he will get some help so that we can extend the parenting time but I have no control over that. I do realize the importance and presence of their dad and his family in the girls' lives, I do just hope that this can all move forward and the move to Texas happens so that my family can ALSO be of huge support for the girls and to myself.
