12 Hour - Parenting Without Conflict

Anais P.

I believe it was a great program to allow parents to understand the details we often ask ourselves what the rules are regarding specific topics. Having learned that the 5 different co-parent personalities exist and have been studied is relieving to understand as co-parents we may feel what we are dealing with is not common. However, having re-assurance and healthy strategies to apply is very much helpful to keep in mind.

8 Hour - High-Conflict Co-Parenting - Co-Parenting Without Conflict

June 17, 2025

Bradly M.

It gave me structure. The way it broke everything down into steps made the parenting plan feel more manageable instead of overwhelming. It kept the focus on my child. The constant reminder to prioritize my child’s best interest helped me stay grounded, even when emotions ran high. It validated how hard this is. The course didn’t sugarcoat anything—it acknowledged how difficult co-parenting can be and still encouraged me to show up and put in the effort. I liked the flexibility. Being able to offer two versions of a parenting plan felt strategic and respectful. It made it easier to negotiate instead of just argue. Parallel parenting was discussed. That felt realistic for my situation. It was helpful to hear that there are still ways to make it work even when direct communication isn’t great. It helped me get ready for court. The worksheets and prompts really helped me organize my thoughts and present a solid plan for my upcoming hearing.

All of the videos with different age groups and specific information regarding how to discuss things with each age group. Remembering to keep parenting plans specific, but also open so they can grow with the needs of the children. Remembering to focus on one topic at a time and stating facts rather than focusing on emotions.

The program helped me clearly identify the emotional steps involved in the breakup/separation process. It made me realize that my husband and I didn’t go through those steps which has contributed to the ongoing challenges we face. This confirmed my belief that mediation is necessary to help us communicate better and co-parent more effectively for the sake of our children.

It was very detailed and revealed realistic scenarios that we have experienced, or are likely to experience, I was able to tie back the lesson to real life experiences. Clearly others have been through this before, so it was nice to know we are not the only one.
