The videos as well as reflection journal were really beneficial and often allowed for a time to reflect on the past and current status of the co-parent process. I had to truly sit still and listen to what works and does not work instead of hearing about feelings and opinions; that too was beneficial.

8 Hour - High-Conflict Co-Parenting - Co-Parenting Without Conflict

Damaso C.

I really appreciated how the program focused on practical tools for managing high-conflict co-parenting. It helped me stay centered on what matters most - my son’s well-being. I liked how it broke down complex topics like anger, control, and communication into real-life strategies that feel doable, even in difficult situations. The emphasis on parallel parenting gave me a realistic approach for co-parenting when direct communication isn't always possible. I also found value in learning how to set healthy boundaries, build structure for my child, and create a parenting plan that reflects not just current needs but also prepares for future changes. The journaling parts helped me reflect on my actions and choices, without judgment, and encouraged growth. I also liked how the course reminded me that it’s okay to take care of myself - that self-care and me time are not selfish, but necessary to show up as a better parent. The balance between putting my son first and still recognizing my own needs was powerful. Overall, this course helped me feel more capable and informed in navigating co-parenting in a respectful, calm, and child-focused way - even when things aren’t perfect.

I really like how this program helped me understand the emotional and practical sides of co-parenting after a break-up. It was easy to follow and gave real-life tools I can use right away.

I liked the section of keeping the kids out of the middle, including the video. The metaphor worked well. Kids don't want to be in the middle of our disagreements. They don't want to take sides. They want both sides. They want love and peace. I also liked the section on communication strategies, focusing on problem solving and needs and avoiding emotional reactions, working on one topic at a time.
