The program helped me clearly identify the emotional steps involved in the breakup/separation process. It made me realize that my husband and I didn’t go through those steps which has contributed to the ongoing challenges we face. This confirmed my belief that mediation is necessary to help us communicate better and co-parent more effectively for the sake of our children.

Is learning better communication tools, even though it was court-ordered, I found value in taking a step back and thinking about how I can be a better parent during a difficult time. The examples given, the lessons and discussions gave helpful examples of what to do and what not to do in tough parenting situations. It helped me feel like I’m not alone, and that other people are working through similar challenges.

I appreciated how the program broke complex topics into manageable, relatable sections. It helped me reflect on my own behaviors and reactions without feeling judged. I also liked how it offered practical tools and examples, especially around managing conflict, parallel parenting, and creating a clear parenting plan. The journal prompts were helpful for processing emotions and making intentional decisions. Most of all, I liked that the focus remained on the children’s well-being—reminding me why this work matters.

I truly appreciated several aspects of the co-parenting training program. The videos felt incredibly authentic and relatable, which made it easy to connect with the scenarios presented. The examples provided were excellent, clearly illustrating common challenges and practical solutions. Furthermore, the presenter was exceptionally knowledgeable yet communicated in simple English, ensuring all the concepts were accessible and easy to understand.

It was easy to understand and put the child’s need first however, a lot of the class was not pertinent to us, because the child is not going through the changes of the break-up now - we have been separated his whole life.
