The format was extremely helpful. I was able to walk away, take time to think, replay videos, go back to other pages. I did not have a linear experience. I needed to go back and re-learn certain ideas. Also, the order in which chapters were presented was crucial. A foundation was perfectly set up to begin with the basics and make me understand the overall ideas, before then diving into complexity and building my understanding.
