I really liked this program because it helped me understand how important it is to put the child's needs first when co-parenting. The program also gave parents good advice on how to talk to each other, how to solve problems, and how to work together even when they aren't together anymore. I also liked that I could think about how I parent and talk to my kids. The questions and activities made me think more carefully about how what I do and decide can affect my child's mental health. I also liked learning useful tips for making a parenting plan and getting parents to work together better. In general, the program taught me how to communicate with respect and keep the child's best interests in mind to make co-parenting work better.

I liked how it identified the stages of grief look different for children than adults. I feel like the information regarding child development and how to keep this in mind when creating the parenting plan was helpful, as this isn't something I've considered before. Having the video from the NY/NJ lawyer was help to learn some hard truths about what can/cannot be included in a parenting plan and how to use concise language.
