I liked the explanation on how your childhood affects your adult relationships; how emotions are expressed differently for everyone, and how much the children are really affected by the high conflict parents.

Brandon M.

I appreciated that the program focused on putting children first and emphasized how important emotional stability and routine are during family transitions. It reinforced the idea that managing my own emotions is one of the most important things I can do to help my child adjust in a healthy way. I also found it helpful that the course discussed practical communication tools for co-parenting after a break-up, especially keeping communication child-focused, brief, and respectful. The reminders about avoiding conflict in front of children and not involving them in adult issues were important and valuable. Another thing I appreciated was the emphasis on reassurance — making sure children understand that the separation is not their fault and that they are loved by both parents. That message resonated with me. Overall, the program helped me reflect on how I can continue improving as a parent and co-parent by focusing on stability, structure, and emotional regulation.

Something I liked abut this course is understanding that the child is a 50/50 blend of both parents - and that protecting their right to love your co-parent is actually protecting them. This helps move away from loyalty binds and toward acceptance.

It doesn't assume anyone knows explicitly what the breakup is going to be like. It helps people understand that their emotions are valid and that it is completely normal to feel that way. It emphasizes the ways to communicate with the other parent and why that's important.

12 Hour - Parenting Without Conflict

Jesse C.

I grew up in a high conflict violent home. I knew nothing about parenting, I didn’t know where my stance was, I didn’t know how to act. It taught me a lot about dealing with my emotions and my feelings and managing them. I love the part about being a flexible thinker, the topic about moderate behavior and about checking myself. All of these make total sense, giving me encouraging thoughts - even when I’m getting negative results, I gotta look at the brighter things. This course was super helpful for me to realize my part and my co-parent part thank you.

I like this course because it taught positive ways to talk to your children and making them feel loved and important. I might not have a good relationship with my co-parent, but I do respect the co-parent and it’s important to communicate even if is just through messages, but just to help each other for the best of our children.

Aubree K.

This program went over a lot of information but it was not overwhelming. Each lesson taught me something that I didn't know before. It really helped me understand that I was also a part of the problem, which encouraged me to evaluate myself and make changes to improve communication with my co-parent. I was able to successfully resolve all issues that were going to be taken to court with my co-parent and using what I learned in this program, I was able to stay calm and make proposals back and forth when needed and hear my co-parent out. It has brought me so much peace. This program is absolutely amazing.
