This really taught me ways to focus on myself, my co-parent & my child in our current situation and showed me ways to deal w/ the upcoming divorce. I also learned there are different ways other than lawyers to get divorced (mediators & collaborative divorce). I also learned different ways to try to keep the peace between co-parents and ways to focus on my daughters well-being through all of this.

I think this was extremely informative and helps bring reality of the situation more real. Also that I thought differently about some things like telling the children about our divorce and not keeping it a secret. Which changed my mind since I experienced that scenario as a child and left me with a huge disadvantage. I wish they had this program when my parents got divorced cause the did everything opposite as this programs suggest.

I was really prompted to think in depth about situations and to see things from a different perspective than my own. I like that there are examples given directly from children going through divorces and other family situations. It's good to hear it from the child's viewpoint.
