What I liked about this course is how detailed and structured it is and I'm glad I chose the 12 hours instead of the 6 hour, it really depicted my entire situation - what happened, what could happen and how to respond to both.

I really liked that the course focused on staying calm, putting the children first, and learning how to communicate in a healthy way. The examples and videos made the material easy to understand, and the worksheets gave me a chance to reflect on my own situation and make improvements. It helped me look at co-parenting from a child’s perspective and reminded me of how important stability and cooperation are for their well-being.

Some things I really liked about this program were how it helped me slow down and think about my child’s needs first, even in stressful situations. I appreciated that it explained co-parenting from both emotional and practical perspectives, and gave real examples of how to handle communication and conflict in a healthy way. I also liked that the program encouraged self-reflection — it helped me see areas where I can improve, while reminding me of the things I’m already doing right as a parent. Overall, it gave me useful tools to stay focused on what really matters: providing a safe, stable, and loving environment for my child.

I really like how it went over different forms of communication. How it broke down how to properly communicate with a coparent. It also really hit home with the video of the kid telling how divorce made them feel. I felt the same way as a kid and I want to make sure our kids don’t feel the same.

I gave information that I could use, but since we have been separated for over 5 years and have parenting time/plans in place already, much of it was not of great help. But it did allow myself and my ex to know we were doing pretty good and it gave us ideas on how to handle some things better and that we might want to talk with our children a little more about the divorce/separation.

The judge video really helped me understand the process and that I’m not singled out. That this too will pass and as long as I take care of myself, provide a loving stable home things will stay the same. There has been no major change to circumstance.

Some things I really liked about this program were how it helped me slow down and really think about my emotions, my parenting style and my child’s needs during this transition. I appreciated how clearly each unit explained both the emotional and practical sides of co-parenting - especially the sections on communication, managing conflict and understanding what children experience during divorce. I also liked that the program provided real examples and step-by-step ways to handle difficult situations. It gave me tools that I can actually use in everyday life, not just theories. Most of all, I liked that it reminded me that growth and healing take time, but that focusing on my child’s well-being and maintaining respect with my co-parent are what matter most.

I really appreciated how in depth this class was and all the topics it covered while trying to remain as inclusive for all the different kinds of co-parents who would be taking it. I appreciated the teachings on how to help children express their emotions on the break -up, as well as it touching on child alienation towards one parent.
