This class was very helpful and educational for me because it addressed important post-separation topics step by step. It especially helped me better understand the difference between healthy conflict and harmful conflict. The sections on emotional regulation, identifying triggers, managing reactions and using techniques such as pausing before responding and intentional communication were very practical. They helped me respond more calmly and thoughtfully. The parts focused on child safety, safe exchanges, supervised visitation, and the role of outside supports such as counselors, therapists, and support networks were explained very clearly. I also learned how to set healthy boundaries, manage communication more effectively, and make decisions that support my child’s stability, safety, and emotional growth. Overall, this class not only increased my awareness, but also provided me with practical tools that I can use in real-life situations to be a more informed and responsible parent.
